The Holy Word. It is the most precious thing that has been given to mankind by the Lord. The Holy Word of God, that came from the Light for mankind to this dark region called earth. Filled with both few good and majority of bad ones. The Holy Word had to be sent to mankind from God through Christ as act of emergency to show mankind once again the direction that leads upwards to the Light, to God. The Holy night, there should have been jubilant singing, gratitude to the Lord for His Great Mercy and Grace to humanity for sending His son to the erring mankind if only they were open at that time.
The Holy Word is so Holy that all who approach it must do so in reverential awe. It issued from God. It is living. Human spirits be conscious at last of the value in the Word, of what you are permitted to hold that has come to you from such great Heights but rather you are not aware of where it came or from Who? It came from the Source of All Life. From God, the Uncreated Light, the Giver of Life.
Let me narrate to you a short story on the above subject. Once upon a time, a time in time, thousands of years ago, The Star of Promise shone radiantly above a stable in Bethlehem. The Savior Christ was born. The Love of God came to this earth. At that time, a few accepted the Light of God to this part of creation, where darkness reigned through the volition of mankind. They did not know the way home again to their origin. As an act of emergency as I mentioned earlier, for mankind not to fall into perdition or lost for all eternity, Jesus Christ -The Son of God, incarnated. Thereby the Incarnate Word of God came to this earth plane. The Embodiment of Light incarnated to this dark region. Joy should have filled the air, if human beings at that time were conscious of the magnitude of what took place then. Instead, they antagonized, condemned and crucified Him, and felt justified with their wrong ideas till date. Think for once the great sacrifice on the part of our Creator, to send His Son from the Light to this dark place for the sake of us wretched mankind of complex attributes, so that we can become familiar with His words which is the only way, the only help and which leads us back home to whence we came, Paradise.
When Jesus Christ came, human beings at that time did not understand Him or rather did not make the effort to. He knew He will not stay long with mankind and that He will be murdered by those in the high places because of their intellect. He then said “Many will I love to tell you now but ye will not understand. But how be it when the Spirit of Truth cometh, what you know in part, He shall make whole to thee.” He also mentioned that “only those who keep their lamp burning shall recognize the bridegroom pass. Go and await that time.” The "lamp burning" simply means that only those who truly have the yearning to be true human beings and still have a spark of truth in them, shall recognize the bridegroom pass. My loving wish for you is to be counted amongst such.
The Savior’s work of redemption is to take up the battle with darkness in order to bring the Light to mankind, to open the way to forgiveness of all sins. Each one must individually tread this path by observing the Law of God in His Will. The coming of Christ became necessary because mankind could no longer find their way alone out of the darkness nor could they release themselves from its clutches. Christ showed the way out. Forgiveness of sin can only occur when a man stands to observe the Laws of God with good volition in his heart. Then he no longer sins. Atonement begins, gradually all his sins will then be forgiven him in a symbolical way. Those who do not live according to the Holy Word of God, for them forgiveness is absolutely impossible.
Those who do not know the words of Christ personally but seriously strive for the truth and ennoblement, often live completely in harmony with these words, will surely attain pure faith and the forgiveness of their sins. Anyone who strives in earnest after the truth and purity will not be lacking in love. The volition of man was only directed to material things and they relied only on their intellect which opened all gates to evil. Darkness welled up and flooded the earth. So, a higher help was needed from above. This then became easy with the coming of Christ by bringing the Truth. Jesus shown mankind the way out of all the mire, all chaos of life by His words, the Holy Word.
Jesus came out of the Luminous Heights to this dense place, He fought for us, suffered and was murdered in the process of bringing the Light and to show us the right way upwards so that we will not become lost in the darkness and sink as I mentioned earlier. That was His tremendous work of Love. Thank the redeemer that with His Word, He reopened the way to the forgiveness of sins and must go the way He showed to us. To go the way does not mean just to learn the Word, believe and preach it to others but to live the Word. To believe it and yet not act according to it in everything, will not benefit you at all. On the contrary, you will be worse off than those who know nothing of the Word. So, strive vigorously in the word. Your time on earth is precious and limited. Make use of the Word of the Lord when you come across it. Strive to understand it aright. Knowledge of the Word of the Lord is of no avail where understanding is lacking. Ignorance is no excuse. Grapple with the Word of God undiluted and undistorted. The Word from the Lord is Holy, be in one accord with it. It is a part of Him. It issues from Him. It is the Holy Word. Open wide your gaze to really know the value of the Word that has been brought all the way down to mankind. Do not let it pass you by like a plaything while other fellow human spirits like yourself have recognized and are grappling with it in all earnestness, while you are still groping around in the dark. Nothing and non-other can guide your steps here on earth towards all that is noble and high, and also lead you finally home but the Holy Word where you get to know His Will in His Laws.
Love everyone like the Lord loves all His creatures alike but trust no one. Trust only the Lord because every human being is exposed to temptation from darkness from time to time. You can never be sure of the state of anyone at any time. All we need to do is to love one another and pray for all those we come across, to overcome their weaknesses, to pull through the temptations that assail them from the darkness. Never condemn or judge one another but pray for the Mercy of the Lord to see all through. You can only trust the Lord who is constant from eternity to eternity. He is a perfect God. When He gave the commandments, one of which is: “Thou shall not kill,” because He is not an arbitrary God, He does not permit killing of any kind. He has been perfect for all Eternity. So, wake up to reality and logic. Never be fooled by anyone any longer without weighing and examining all that has to do with the Lord. He has woven into creation His laws which will never change now and forever more. That was why Christ said “ I have not come to overthrow the Laws but to fulfill them. Even for the Lord’s son. Then who are you to overthrow or change the Laws of God to suit your wrong ideas? He, the Pure one, The Purest Light, The All Knowing, The All Wise, The Eternal One, Him alone must you trust. In trusting and truly believing in Him, you will take everything that issues from Him seriously and hold it with both arms. Value it genuinely. Utilize it for yourself. Absorb the Word rightly. Delve more into the Word and make it an integral part of you, so that it lightens your part to the Luminous Heights. Let me now talk further still on trust: Take for instance, someone not in control of His Life, promised another of a help in a few days but died before the appointed day. Can one also truly trust such a person? “I will give to you the money next week, don’t think again. I will solve the problem for you, trust me.” You trusted due to his promise and assurance. Surely, he meant it but not in control of his life. Death claimed his life before the week promised. Can you trust him? No. Trust only the Lord Who is sure at all times, ever faithful, ever sure. The Lord is there for you, Who is in control of the times, Who exist yesterday, today, tomorrow and for all eternity. Him alone can you trust and non-other. His promise over your life is as sure as day. Revere Him, praise Him always for His Love and Mercy over us mankind.
Wake up and become inwardly true. Gratitude to the Lord for the redemption which offer mankind liberation. Always giving thanks to Him who in His Wisdom and Goodness created the Laws by which all creatures must judge and redeem themselves.
Be conscious that whenever you do it right, do the Will of the Lord in obedience to Him, you are connected to the Light. So, guard well the obtained connection, not to lose it for any reason. With the Light connection, no harm or evil can penetrate your being. Also guard against dislodgement by constantly reading the Word of the Lord at all times. Study it, it is refreshing, it illuminates. The Holy Word could influence your character to continually do His will.
I address fellow human spirits to come alive and truly become conscious in creation like all the other creatures. Only mankind of all the creatures deviated from the right path leading to God. What a beautiful world this could be, even still more beautiful can we make it. You need to find out the path to it, its treasures by being a part of it, a part of this Grace. Be a benefactor of the treasures in creation. Man looks around for what is already within, but unable to discover or discern how close what he seeks for is, because the spirit is dormant. Not alive, blocked by the over cultivation of the intellect. Let the intellect be silent for once and rest a bit and bring your spirit alive by constantly reading the Word of the Lord with genuineness of heart and acting upon it. This alone is useful to you and leads to the goal. If not by the time the physical body is shed off, on reaching the beyond the spirit would be empty. If the spirit is brought alive while living here on earth, then your path becomes lightened and automatically swings you homeward after an earthly death. Do not leave the essential and go after what is of no value to you. Vanity upon vanity. You came with nothing and shall go with nothing. Don’t wait until this realization dawns on you too late. Act now! What goes with you is your experience, the knowledge of the Lord and its effects on your spirit. So yearn and exert yourself in earnest for the Holy Word of the Lord in hunger. It is the food the spirit needs and the ladder upwards to the heights, the only link to the Lord. A daily practice it must be, not only in churches, in Sunday attires or when you choose to. Vehemently discard indolence. Send it away from your being like a poisonous venom. As you feed the body with food for maintenance so must you also feed the spirit with the Holy Word of God. For the Holy Word is living as I mentioned earlier. Give a quality time to the Lord each day. Starting this practice, you must endeavor not to get distracted in anyway, either through sin of any kind or any other distractions. With this practice you climb the ladder upwards gradually towards the noble and high. On the contrary by sinning against the Will of God, not obeying the Word and putting it to use in your daily life, you automatically drop from your upwards ladder. So take heed you do not drop but keep on keeping on until your last day on earth which you never know when that could be. That is why Christ said, “Watch and Pray”. He knew mankind must stay focused and be determined because temptation will surely come. A ploy of Satan, the cunning one with his constant war against the creatures of the Lord.
The Holy Word of God is a torch for us mankind to see clearly in this dark region. This earth where darkness reigns. You must lift yourself above this darkness and not be a part of it. The Lord has so endowed you with the ability to do so. You have all it takes from the Heavenly Father, Who sacrificed greatly for us all. We were never left alone so long as our volition is pure and true. Recognize the Light at last. Detect stone from bread. Weigh and examine every word that comes your way to detect aright and never be misled for you alone will have to account to the Lord for all your decisions.
How and why could Human spirits that issued from God, from All Light, forget completely about the Light. It became an alien thing because of our inadequacies, our deviation through the domination of the intellect. No longer familiar with all the help from the Light – the Holy Word of God. What should have been like a magnetic pull, a spark of Light that issued from God, should be connected by the power of attraction to the Holy Light due to its homogeneity. That is how it should have been for mankind, but the attraction was no longer there. The human spirits, the Light spark from God, has lost all the light within and replaced with total darkness. Darkness is alien to the Light, therefore the Light withdraws away from the darkness in order not to be soiled. At present, darkness has gained the upper hand on earth. You must now retrace your steps back to that Light. The familiar Light. Rekindle the Light within you with the Holy Word of God. It then continually grows, stronger and stronger until it illuminates your whole being. Rid yourself of the rigidity that clings to you tenaciously. Be like children and follow the right path by valuing only the Holy Word of God and putting it to use in your daily life. Keeping the Laws of God, not betraying the Light. It requires a continual struggle to be able to say towards the end of your days that you have overcome. What a comfort this would provide, so never relent in your effort to do His Will.
The Holy Word is the only Link. The link within the heart of man to the Lord. By filling the Word of the Lord into your heart as I mentioned earlier, it molds your character and changes you for the better. Fine to finer and then to finest before the Lord. In so doing you possess Light within. The Light Link. The Link that dwells within man after genuineness of striving for only what is good and never deviating. Therefore awake, strive on unflinchingly. Get connected to the Light and stay connected at last. This can only be by constantly possessing a pure heart. Making His Word an integral part of you in abiding and acting upon it at all times. May this write-up bring about the awakening of your spirit. I wish you this.
